The generation gap means differences between people of the younger generation and their elders.
These differences may be for musical tastes, fashion, culture and politics.
This gap has existed and will continue to exist as long as man exists on this earth.
Due to progress of time and technologies, new ideas, new beliefs and new values etcetera differences arise between you'd people and older people within a family
For example: grandparents might not like the fast-food tradition, tight clothes, coloured haired of their grandchildren and grandchildren might not like the conservative thoughts of their elders.
The cases for this kind of gap could be that the older people despite the modern values which they call the ' computerised' and 'globalized' values.
They consider the young generation shallow and lacking knowledge and moral depth.
Nuclear families and live- in relations etc. are the result of this different thinking
The problem of generation gap never-ending because all the elders think that they are batter than their youngsters in turn of experience and knowledge.
Both the younger and older generation should understand that no one is complete without the other and that they should work hand in hand and share their thoughts.
Youngsters should learn from their elders ' experience' and elders should adapt themself according to changing times.
